Introduction to Grant Writing for Artists

Saturday, January 16th, 2010 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Workshop fee $60
(Take home materials and snacks provided).
Workshop is limited to ten participants.

This will be the best $60 you ever spent! If you don't know how to navigate writing a grant - we'll be walking you step-by-step through the process. Learn the reality of the granting process and how to play the game to your advantage. For those with prior grant writing experience, you can learn how to become more competitive and zero in on the the next step in your funding pursuits. This workshop is geared toward individual artists or creative groups of all levels working in all disciplines of visual and performing arts. Organizational granting and fiscal sponsorship will be touched upon as well. This is an opportunity to learn from people who know this process well. This is the stuff they don't teach you at school.
