Gardening with Utah Native Plants

Monday, July 13th

Our Lady of the Snows at 5:30pm

Join ACE and Matthew Utley for an informational class on gardening with Utah native plants.  Matthew Utley is a horticultruist for Tracy Aviary, he has worked with Red Butte Gardens, and is the point person on the Rare Plant Surveys for "Wasatch Shooting Star" conducted by the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation and the Forest Service. 

Everyone attending will receive a Native Seed Packet. 

This class will include:

- Information on why planting native is important

- A 45 minute walk to look at the natural landscape and plants of Alta

- A question and answer session

- An introduction to Alta's Ski Lifts Environmental Center and Friends of Alta
