THE ALTA SCHOOL [1]

The Jordan School District (now Canyons Shool District) opened a one room school in Alta in 2002, it is housed at the Goldminer's Daughter Lodge, ranges from K-8th grades with about 15-20 children. Jaeann Tschiffley has been the teacher since inception. The school publishes and distributes a newspaper every winter entitled "Altatude".
